Aloha Lani Association Notice NEW PARKING SECURITY GATES Activation: Monday, February 4, 2002 ATTENTION: All owners, property managers, residents, quests and persons who own or lease parking stalls in Aloha Lani, 2211 Ala Wai buildings. In order to deter vandalism and theft and to restrict unauthorized access to the our buildings, the Aloha Lani Board of Directors has approved the installation of automatic security gates at the parking entries to both buildings. The gates were installed a couple of months ago, but not be activated until after the holiday season. Pedestrian Access to both buildings and bicycle access to "A" building will be through new pedestrian gates using the current "core key". Vehicular Access to the parking areas within both buildings will be secured by a slider gate in "A" building and two roll up gates in "B" building. The REMOTE ACCESS DEVICE TO OPERATE THE GATES is digital and cannot be duplicated or purchased elsewhere without proper authorization. The devices will be numbered for identification. The existing vehicular height limits in both buildings will NOT be reduced. AS OF FEBRUARY 4, 2002 the following Rules will apply: 1. All cars and motorcycles parked within our buildings must be registered with our Courtesy Patrol (CP). If a vehicle owner is a resident of Aloha Lani, they must have a completed apartment registration on file with the CP office. All vehicles in the building must have a valid City and County vehicle registration and valid insurance card. An Aloha Lani bumper or window sticker will be issued for identification of all vehicles parked in the building. 2. The cost of the Remote Access Device is $100 each. The remote device is purchased by the apartment owner. There will be no deposits or refunds for the remote devices. Any special arrangements for payment or deposits must be made between the owner/agent and the tenant. The remote devices are currently available for pick up. Please see the resident manager or Courtesy Patrol. You must pick up your remote device prior to February 4, 2002 in order to access the parking garages. 3. Any unauthorized or unregistered vehicles parked in the buildings may be subject to TOW at the vehicle owners expense without notice. Trespassing and tailgating rules will be strictly enforced. Absent owners may contact CP by fax (808-9262845) or mail to: 2211 Ala Wai Blvd., Honolulu, HI. 96815) to request an ABSENTEE REGISTRATION FORM. Only the mini transmitter in operating condition will be received for a $20 credit. No credit will be made for any other transmitting device.
