Air Conditioners installed in windows along the walkway to the apartments must be in line with the window opening, i.e., it cannot exceed more than one inch beyond the plane of the window. Only one air Conditioner per apartment will be allowed. Exceptions for apartments B-801 and B-802, and the Penthouse apartments.2. Air Conditioners must be installed in the approved window location. See attached drawing provided by the Resident Manager. 3. The air Conditioner unit must be of the dripless type. If water does drip to the exterior of the building, the resident must channel the water to inside the apartment. 4. If the air Conditioner unit becomes noisy or drips water uncontrollably, it must be repaired, replaced or removed at the owner's expense within 15 days of receipt of a notice of violation by the resident manager. 5. Air Conditioners are allowed only on the makai side and ewa end of the building. No air Conditions are allowed on the Ala Wai or mauka side of the building, except for the Penthouse apartments and apartments on the 7th through 10th floors if not visible from the street. 6. Air Conditioners shall be between 7,000 BTU and 12,500 BTU. The exterior color of the air Conditioner must be beige in color. All frame work and cover panels must be painted to match the exterior color of the building. 7. The air Conditioner and all exterior surfaces must be kept clean. 8. The air Conditions must include an exterior architectural grille. Approved manufactures and distributors are:
